Who We Are

Winning Women of the First State are women from all areas of Delaware and from diverse backgrounds.  We are dedicated to the full participation of women in public office.  We are committed to bringing stronger, well-qualified, and dedicated women into political leadership positions where they can make a positive difference.  We will achieve this goal through an intensive annual leadership program and an extended national and statewide network that will connect women who are committed to serving in public office or in political leadership to needed resources.  Our objective is to use our resources to help our participants, or Fellows, become more effective and informed leaders.  We are not an issue-oriented, but rather a leadership building organization.
